Payment Policy

1. Accepted Payment Methods

ViViDApps accepts the following payment methods for project engagements:

• UPI (Unified Payments Interface): GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM UPI — instant domestic transfers.
• Bank Transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS): Direct transfers to our registered business account. Details provided on invoice.
• Razorpay: Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), net banking, wallets.
• International Wire Transfer (SWIFT): For overseas clients. Currency conversion charges may apply as per your bank.
• PayPal: Available for international clients; PayPal fees (typically 3.5–4.5%) are borne by the Client unless otherwise agreed.

2. Pricing & Quotation

All project pricing is quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) by default. International clients may be quoted in USD upon request. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise.

2.1 GST

ViViDApps is registered under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act. All invoices will include applicable GST at the current rate (18% for IT services) unless the Client provides valid exemption documentation. GST is charged on the taxable value of services as per Indian law.

2.2 International Clients

Services rendered to clients outside India may be treated as export of services and may be zero-rated for GST purposes. Clients must provide their country of residence/registration details for accurate tax treatment.

3. Milestone-Based Payment Structure

For fixed-price projects, ViViDApps typically follows a milestone payment model:

• Advance / Booking Fee: 30–50% of the total project value, due before any development begins. This secures your project slot and initiates resource allocation.
• Mid-Project Milestone: 25–40% due upon delivery of a defined mid-project milestone (e.g., UI/UX approval, backend structure completion).
• Final Payment: Remaining balance due prior to final deliverable handover, source code access, or app store submission.

Specific milestones and percentages are defined in the project SOW. For retainer or hourly engagements, invoices are issued monthly in advance or bi-weekly, as agreed.

4. Invoice & Payment Terms

• Invoices are issued digitally via email in PDF format with a unique invoice number.
• Payment is due within 7 calendar days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Late payments beyond the due date will attract a 2% monthly late fee on the outstanding balance.
• ViViDApps reserves the right to pause work on any project where payment is overdue by more than 7 days.
• All invoices must be acknowledged upon receipt. Disputes on invoice line items must be raised within 48 hours of receipt.

5. Work Commencement

No development, design, or engineering work shall commence until the advance payment has been received and cleared in our account. Verbal commitments, emails, or signed proposals do not constitute a payment commitment.

6. Currency & Exchange

For international payments, the exchange rate applied is the prevailing mid-market rate on the invoice date. ViViDApps bears no responsibility for exchange rate fluctuations between invoice date and payment date. Any shortfall due to forex changes must be made up by the Client.

7. Receipt & Confirmation

ViViDApps will send a payment confirmation and official receipt within 24 hours of payment clearance. Please retain this receipt for your records. Receipts serve as proof of payment and may be required for dispute resolution.
